“From the moment I could see the friendly staff of the Corcovado Wilderness Lodge waiting on the beach for our arrival I knew I was about to experience something very special. As I stepped on to the shore a sense of tranquility washed over me! What I experienced over the next five days was beyond any expectation of what I thought an off grid, eco-hotel would be like. First things first; we had a happy hour margarita over looking the Pacific Ocean and Caño Island from the Margarita Bar. As the staff delivered my luggage to the room I prepared for a delicious dinner. I immediately started to slow down and enjoy every moment of the nature around me. The next morning I went on a jungle hike to learn more about the property nestled among a 250,000 acre national preserve. By the way, Costa Rica is one of the most bio-diverse places on the planet with about 6% of the world’s species of plants and animals!“
